TL;DR: If you’re in crisis right now — emotionally, mentally, or physically — this page is for you. Below you’ll find free, confidential crisis lines, domestic abuse support, and therapy directories for the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa. You are not alone, and help is one call away.
If You’re in Crisis Right Now — Real Help, Real People
I want to be straight with you about something.
This website is about relationships — about breaking the painful cycles that keep us stuck, about finding our way back to the people we love, and about becoming the best version of ourselves in the process. That’s my life’s work, and I mean every word of it.
But sometimes, what’s happening in your relationship is a symptom of something deeper. Something that goes beyond a blog post or a coaching framework. Something that deserves a real, trained human being sitting with you in it.
I’ve been in that dark place. The kind where you can’t eat, can’t sleep, and the silence in the house is so loud it’s deafening. I know what it feels like when the pain stops being emotional and starts feeling physical — like something is actually breaking inside your chest. I know what it’s like to feel completely alone in a room full of people.
And I know what it’s like to wish someone had pointed me toward real help sooner.
So that’s what this page is. Not a disclaimer. Not a legal box-tick. A genuine signpost — from someone who’s been there — to the people and services that exist for exactly this moment.
Please use it.
Not Ready for a Phone Call? Start Here.
If you’re not in immediate danger but you know you need more than a blog post — if the weight of what you’re carrying is affecting your sleep, your work, your ability to function — I want to point you toward something that genuinely helped change the way I think about support.
Online-Therapy.com is the platform I recommend to people who are ready to talk to someone but aren’t ready to sit in a waiting room. It’s built around Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — one of the most evidence-based approaches to anxiety, depression, and relationship distress — and it connects you with a real, licensed therapist, not a chatbot.
You work at your own pace. From wherever you are. On your terms.

You Don’t Have to White-Knuckle This Alone
I built ChangingTheCycle.com because I know what it’s like to feel like there’s no way through. I know the shame of needing help. I know the pride that keeps you from asking for it.
But here’s what I also know: the bravest thing I ever did wasn’t fixing my marriage. It was finally admitting I couldn’t do it alone.
Whatever you’re carrying right now — reach out. To a hotline. To a therapist. To someone you trust. The cycle only breaks when we stop suffering in silence.
— Robert
